Northwest sent rival Missouri Western packing for the 14th consecutive meeting as the Bearcats knocked off the Griffons 65-56.

Trevor Hudgins eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for his career as he posted a 31-point night for No. 2 Northwest.

The Bearcats improve to 16-1 overall, 6-1 MIAA with the win.

Hudgins was the only Northwest player in double figures, followed by nine points from Diego Bernard and eight apiece from Ryan Hawkins and Luke Waters.

The Bearcats are home again Thursday to face Nebraska Kearney. Game time is 7:30pm, with pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 beginning at 7pm.
